Since 1836, Cairns & Brother has been the original manufacturer of leather firefighting helmets.
The Cairns G5A has retained the same authentic look and quality that generation after generation of firefighters have relied on. Original style brass front holder with the impressive brim details.
Helmet is standard with stainless steel D-ring. Helmet insides feature a four way suspension system and liner without earflaps. This is similar to the older Model 5A worn years ago and still being worn by the “Old Timers.”
Lightweight and comfortable fit are the hallmark of this most desirable presentation helmet. With a lower dome and longer rear brim than today’s leather firefighting helmets, the G5A is like the helmet your father wore. Not recommended for firefighting! This helmet is not OSHA or NFPA compliant.
